This site contains basic survival techniques, methods, gear etc. If you want to learn the basics you should be able to find everything you are looking for on this site; however, most of everyone who comes here hangs out in the forums. The forums are the mother load of information. There you can post and read other people's comments, tips, techniques, tutorials etc. Since this site was originally only a forum most of the information is on the forum.
